Vattakanal, also know as ‘Vatta’ or ‘Little Israel’ is located in the Dindigul District on the southern tip of the upper Palani hills in the state of Tamil Nadu and it is about 10 minutes drive from the Kodaikanal Lake. Major cities in South India are connected to Kodaikanal by Buses, which is an overnight journey and one can take a taxi for INR 200 to 300 to Vattakanal from Kodaikanal.
